• General Internal Drainage : Blockages of drainage systems, displaced/open joints, fractures & cracks, collapsed or broken sections of pipe.
• General External Drainage : Pipes and drains in and around your home, including the drains from your property up to your boundary.

• EXCLUDED: (Shared Drain's where several neighbouring properties' drains meet together before they join the public sewer is you local water companies job to maintain).
• EXCLUDED: Cosmetic damage to your property or contents. • EXCLUDED: Your plan does not include investigating or locating a leak. If the source of the leak is not clearly visible and identifiable your claim will be declined.
• A manhole cover is the removable plate forming the lid over the opening of a manhole. Its used for a person to pass through that is used as an access point for an underground vault or pipe.
• Drainage Interceptor Traps are a common cause of frequently blocked drains. Interceptor traps are usually found in the outlet of the last manhole chamber from a property prior to the main sewer connection.

  • We advise you check your Protection Plan Agreement document to make sure your problem is covered.
  • If you need an engineer, but the repair is not covered by your Protection Plan Agreement then you may be liable for extra costs. Your engineer should inform you where possible if you have incurred extra costs before carrying out any work. You should always double-check the small print of your agreement document to check for any exclusions before you have repair work done on your Home Systems.
