How do I Get Covered/Sign Up?
  • You can sign up buy by calling us on 0800 689 1862. It’s quick, easy and immediate cover is available.
When Will I be Covered?
  • Your cover will commence on the day we process your application.
  • Customers are free to claim 30 days after date of sign up.
Yearly Claim Total?
  • The Claim Limit on Your chosen plan is the total amount you can reach for cumulative claims.

    • Cover Plan 2 & 3Only:
    Unlimited claims including: Engineer/Tradesman labour, replacement part costs & call out charge’s up to the value of £2000. This Claim limit will be reset on the date of your policy renewal date.
  • * Drainage & Plumbing Protection:*
    • Cover Plan 1:
    Unlimited claims including: Engineer/Tradesman labour, replacement part costs & call out charge’s up to the value of £500.00. This Claim limit will be reset on the date of your policy renewal date.
    • Cover Plan 3:
    Unlimited claims including: Engineer/Tradesman labour, replacement part costs & call out charge’s up to the value of £2000.00. This Claim limit will be reset on the date of your policy renewal date.
  • * Electrical Protection:*
    • Cover Plan 1,2&3:
    Unlimited claims including: Engineer/Tradesman labour, replacement part costs & call out charge’s up to the value of £500. This Claim limit will be reset on the date of your policy renewal date.
  • * Appliance Protection:*
    • Add on To Plan
    Unlimited claims including: Engineer/Tradesman labour, replacement part costs & call out charge’s up to the value of £500 per registered appliance. This Claim limit will be reset on the date of your policy renewal date.
What Is The Excess per/claim?
  • All Our Plans Guarantee ZERO excess
Are Parts & Labour Included
  • Yes! Our engineers source new parts for repairs, and if we cant replace the component part we will replace like for like. (Within your plan limit)
Who Can Buy Your Cover?
  • People who are homeowners
  • People who live in houses, bungalows or flats
  • Landlords. (£60.00 Premium Per Property)
How Long After Signing up for A Policy With You Can I Make A Claim?
  • You will receive all your documentation including your personal DPUK Customer Policy ID and free To claim 28 Days after the day we take your Policy set up details.
When Can I Call You Out?
  • Drain Protection UK’s service is available 7 days a week including Weekends and Evenings.
When & How Can I Cancel?
  • With Drain Protection UK you are not tied into any contract and you can cancel at any time. If payment is not collected this will mean your Protection Plan with us is void - and you will not be able to make any future claims.
What If I Miss A Payment?
  • If you miss a payment or cancel your Direct Debit instruction your policy with us will be void and we will unable to honour any claims made after this.
I Have Made A Claim But Now Want To Cancel
  • If you cancel your policy or instruct your bank to stop the Direct Debit and you have made a claim, you will still be required to pay the full year’s premium.
Where Are You Based?
  • Our company and all customer service representative are UK based. You will be assigned your personal claims manager who will take you through every step of the claims process. We love building a relationship via personalized services for our customers
How Long Do Your Engineers Take to Come Out?
  • We will always accommodate our customers where possible. We start by determining any days you won’t be home and ascertaining a date that is suitable for you and try our absolute best to have the engineer visit on your required date, (dependent on our engineer availability in your area at any given time,) however we can’t always guarantee a specific time during the day.

    Our UK-based claims team answer 90% of calls within 20 minutes and fix up to 99% of emergencies during the first call-out. (This does depend on the severity of the problem.) Typically, an engineer is deployed within one day of your phone call. PLUMBING & DRAINAGE COVER (STANDARD ON BOTH PLANS)
I’m A DPUK Customer And I have an Emergency. How Long Will You take to Fix my Problem?
  • Serious emergency’s that have or are likely to cause fire or flood damage are all considered to be urgent repairs and are handled quickly as swiftly as possible. (Dependent on our engineer availability in your area at any given time.)
I’m NOT a DPUK Customer and I have an emergency. Can You Fix My Problem?
  • If you have a Drainage Emergency that can’t wait, we can arrange an emergency engineer for the same day for a £99 call out charge. We will source a qualified engineer near you by utilising our Nationwide team and ensure the problem is dealt with a swiftly as possible. You will be invoiced separately for their Labour and Parts.
Do you have Pest Control Cover?
  • We do not currently cover for pest control.
How many claims can i make through the year?
  • With all our plans you are entitled to unlimited callouts & claims. (In accordance to our fair usage policy.
Is there Any Hidden Charges?
NO! Drain Protection UK prides itself on being COMPLETELY transparent with our customers.
   How Do I update My Contact Details

  What Happens When I Am Due For Renewal?
We will send you a reminder of this once every 12 months at least 2 weeks prior to the anniversary of your policy start date.
  Can I change my Policy?
To cancel or transfer your policy into another name please call us Customer Service On: 0800 689 1862.

  Will I Get A Refund If I Cancel?
If your policy is cancelled either within or after the cancellation period and you have made a claim, your policy will be cancelled immediately but you will still be required to pay the full year’s premium.
  What Happens If I Move House?
We will transfer your policy if you move, free of charge. Call us on 0800 689 1862 and the change can take effect immediately if required. Please note, we do not cover properties with existing issues.
